Starla Halcomb, PhD

Chief Executive Officer, Senior Consultant & Trainer
Dr. Halcomb has more than 28 years of experience in the educational and training fields. Her areas of specialty include instructional and course design, facilitation, small group instruction, curriculum development, knowledge management, team building, leadership development, and the adaptive learning model. Her experience in teaching and administration in several levels of educational institutions, as well as many years working with the US Army Defense Ammunition Center as a contract instructional and program developer, provide a rich background of experience to draw upon. Dr. Halcomb is a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MTBI) Masterclass Administrator and Interpreter, as well as a U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Quality Assurance Evaluator.

Marlin Blankenship, PhD

Executive Leadership Coach & Consultant
Dr. Blankenship is a professional leadership coach who excels in helping leaders find practical and effective solutions to complex problems. He is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coach Federation (ICF). He brings more than 20 years of professional experience training and developing people including 500+ hours of coaching leaders in multiple fields. Beyond leadership coaching, his background includes emergency management, healthcare, tribal non-profit, and higher education. Dr. Blankenship thrives in problem solving and using a coaching approach to develop and implement strategy. The interdisciplinary nature of his experience and education provide leaders and teams with a holistic approach to training and leadership development.

Denise Michaud, PMP

Program Manager
Ms. Michaud has 23 years of experience in education and program management. Her expertise includes program management, quality assurance, and Learning Management System administration. She began her career in public education, dedicating more than 18 years to providing individualized instruction and case management for students with special needs, mentoring professionals entering the field of special education, and instilling passion for the field through facilitation of professional development workshops. Her expertise in public education furthered her career working as a project manager within private industry and non-profit organizations, as well as local, state, and national emergency response teams, while simultaneously managing educational trainings and training-related projects for the first responder community.

Brandon Halcomb, BS

Business Manager and Technical Advisor
Mr. Halcomb has more than 20 years of professional experience in safety-related training and management. He has developed and taught safety programs for local industry and fire departments, has served as Corporate Safety Director in an industrial setting, has managed a local ambulance service, and currently serves as Captain of a fire department. Mr. Halcomb oversees LEAD Training's business operations including managing financial reporting, accounting, and payroll processes, and providing business analysis and implementing strategic business plans.
